Undergraduate Programs at UCLA Ed&IS
We are preparing the next generation of professionals to address some of the most pressing challenges in the field of education and information studies.
Major in Education and Social Transformation
Education and Social Transformation is more than just the name of the major – it is our commitment to educating you as activists to go into the world leading change. In the undergraduate major program, you analyze current issues in education through a social justice lens and emerge as effective advocates for positive change.
Minors in the School of Education and Information Studies
In addition to the undergraduate major in Education and Social Transformation, Ed&IS offers two minor programs. The Minor in Education Studies helps students develop an understanding of current educational practices. The Minor in Information Media Literacy provides students with critical skills to judiciously form judgements surrounding information and media. We also have several minors affiliated with our School.
